Role Summary

The communication and creative officer is responsible for creating, managing, and delivering effective communication strategies to enhance an TFL's internal and external messaging. This role involves public relations, digital media management, content creation, and brand awareness efforts. The officer ensures clear, consistent, and engaging communication with stakeholders, including employees, media, partners, and the public.

Main Accountabilities 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

•    Draft and proofread various types of content, including social media posts, newsletters, web articles, mass emails, and reports.
•    Manage and create content for social media platforms (Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn), ensuring engagement and alignment with the TFL’s goals.

  • Attend school visits and events to capture photos and videos.
  • Utilize design and video editing skills to create static and motion content.
  • Take and edit photos and videos, ensuring high-quality visuals and proper framing.
  • Provide writing, editing, and creative support to key departments for critical documents shared with stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communications channels.
  • Assist in website and blog content updates and improvements.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of communications strategies, setting deadlines and reporting on progress.
  • Plan and coordinate events and media outreach in collaboration with the creative and communication manager.
  • Coordinate with different departments for communication and information gathering.
  • Ensure proper documentation and archiving by following the proper procedures.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

 

Qualifications

·Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Translation, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related discipline.

Experience

·1-2 years of experience in communications, content creation, or social media management.

Technical Skills

 

·Proficiency in English and Arabic; French is a plus.

·Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite (or similar design and editing software).

·Ability to navigate various digital tools and platforms.

Additional Knowledge

 

·Knowledge of branding principles and social media platforms.

·Experience in photography and videography, including editing and selecting strong visuals.

 

Working Conditions

Location: The chosen candidate will be based in Achrafieh Office with occasional field visits.

Package: Competitive salary based on experience with NSSF and Medical-Life Insurance benefits.

Other: Willingness to work some weekends and evenings to cover possible events.
