The Projects Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the implementation of the project activities, especially at the field level.
  • Conduct outreach activities to communicate planned activities and invite relevant program participants.
  • Coordinating capacity development sessions.
  • Provide continuous feedback on projects’ activities’ progress to key staff.
  • Ensuring effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including 1MORECUP staff.
  • Liaising with the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Officer to ensure adherence to the established MEAL system, which is designed to track project progress, measure outcomes, and ensure accountability.
  • Collaborating with the MEAL Officer and project officer to collect, analyze, and report on project data, using appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Identifying areas for improvement in the MEAL system and providing regular feedback to 1MORECUP's management, with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization's projects and ensuring accountability to affected populations.
  • Ensuring that project activities are aligned with the project’s work plan and MEAL framework, and that project outcomes are accurately documented and reported.
  • Supporting the MEAL Officer in conducting periodic reviews and evaluations of project performance, and using the findings to inform decision-making and improve project implementation Identifying and addressing any challenges or obstacles that may arise during project implementation.
  • Handling administrative requests and queries from senior managers.
  • Planning meetings and taking detailed minutes.
  • Preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems.
  • Coordinating internal and external resources to expedite workflow.
  • Providing administrative support to senior leaders, including email correspondence and generation and distribution of memos, letters, spreadsheets, and forms.

 

The ideal candidate for the Projects Coordinator position should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, community development, or related field)
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the non-profit sector and with a focus on marginalized communities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic.
