Under the supervision of the Programs Coordinator/SWSL president, the specific responsibilities will be as follows:
S/he will:
· Establish and implement a monitoring and evaluation plan for the projects that are being implemented at SWSL with the collaboration of the program coordinators
· Ensure timely implementation of the M&E plan of the different projects that are being implemented at SWSL
· Develop reporting templates and tools to be used by all implementers that reflect progress in the implementation of the grant activities and their outputs
· Follow-up on indicators to ensure timely progress towards targets
· Collect data/reports from all implementers on monthly and per activity basis and analyze them
· Design data quality assurance mechanisms
· Ensure data reported by is of adequate quality (including completeness, timeliness, and integrity)
· Conduct periodic supervision and data quality checks
· Identify weak performances or delays in implementation and inform the Programs Coordinator accordingly for timely action
· Provide technical support on monitoring and evaluation where needed, including, but not limited to, data collection tools development, data collection methods, data entry, data system management and reporting
· Contribute to all SWSL activities related to M&E, including trainings, material development, capacity building activities, and technical assistance where needed or when asked by the Programs Coordinator
· Report on progress of grant implementation
· Develop, in coordination with the Programs Coordinator, detailed mid-year and annual reports on all SWSL activities
Qualifications:
Required
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience using research methods with mixed-methods data collection and analysis skills, and deep knowledge about the key concepts and theories underpinning expert debates on the topic.
- Prior experience in a non-profit or international field, with social, child protection and health related issues
- Fluent Arabic and English. French is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to work independently on multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, specifically the ability to deliver succinct and persuasive analysis.
