" Beit El Mouneh"
"Beit el mouneh" is an initiative supported by The Alawite Islamic Charity Association The Social Center for Orphans and Widows and The Alawite Islamic Charity Association. It aims to improve the socio-economic situation of widows in Jabal Mohsen. The project will focus on the following outputs: • Outcome 1: Vulnerable women (Widows and wives of men who are in Syria) are empowered economically as well as socially. • Time frame: This project will be implemented from 2017 till 2020. • Area of coverage: Jabal Mohsen • Target beneficiaries: Direct beneficiaries: 25 women o Age Group: [35-50] Indirect beneficiaries: 25 families in Jabal Mohsen
Overall Objectives:
-Building the capacities of 25 women in Jabal Mohsen of cooking methods and food safety
-Establishing a local center in jabal Mohsen in order to create a space where they can produce and ensure the marketing for their products.
-Promoting the selling mechanism in order to increase the demand on the products
Activities:
1.1. Training on different cooking techniques.
1.2. Training on Food Safety.
2.1. Equip the center and prepare it with the materials needed.
2.2. Training on “ the proper usage of machines and equipment”
3.1. Training on Marketing techniques and skills.
