Restoration works carried out for the rehabilitation of the Mseilha fort started at the beginning of August and includes the following: Restoring parts of the Citadel, consolidating the foundation of the staircase and placing a metallic staircase parapet; securing the different openings in the Citadel and mill; restoring important parts of the mill; allocating a house for the guards of the Citadel; building restrooms and a septic pit; placing two information panels about the history of the Citadel in Arabic, English and French; building a fence around the Citadel and providing several entrance doors; lighting the facades of the Citadel.
