Freelance Proposal Writer

Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Writing: Develop clear, compelling, and well-structured proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), funding calls, and grant applications. Ensure all proposals align with the NGO's mission, values, and goals.
Research: Conduct thorough research on potential funding sources, including private foundations, government grants, and international organizations. Understand their requirements and tailor proposals accordingly.
Collaborative Approach: Work closely with program managers, project staff, and leadership to gather relevant information, ensuring that proposals accurately represent the NGO's work and goals.
Proposal Review: Review and edit proposals written by other team members to ensure clarity, coherence, and alignment with the funder's priorities and requirements.
Budget Assistance: Collaborate with the finance team to ensure proposals include accurate and realistic budget estimates that align with program goals and donor requirements.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain a record of all proposals submitted, including deadlines, outcomes, and feedback. Prepare internal reports to track progress and success rates.
Compliance: Ensure proposals meet the specific requirements and guidelines set by funders, including formatting, supporting documentation, and deadlines.
Proposal Follow-up: Support the follow-up process after proposal submission, including communicating with potential funders to address questions or provide additional information.
