Summary of Position
The Project Intern will provide support to the project team by assisting in administrative, technical, and financial aspects of the project to ensure it meets the quality requirements, delivers on time, and that organizational learning is captured.
It is expected this position will be working most closely with the “Building the Capacities of the National Network of Insider Mediators” project.
The Project Intern must be available to work 25-30 hours per week, with a commitment of 6 months. While the standard working days per week will be 5, it is important to note that occasionally, the intern may be required to attend project activities on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Any weekend activities will be communicated in advance, and the intern will be compensated with additional time off during weekdays to ensure that the total working hours per week remain within the agreed range.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the project team in planning for meetings, training, and workshops, and assist in relevant invitations and logistical preparations.
- Conduct field monitoring visits as and when requested to provide support when needed to ensure quality implementation.
- Assist in field/monitoring data collection, entry, and maintenance for reporting purposes according to the confidentiality/privacy policy of the organization such as attendance and M&E tools.
- Attend meetings and draft minutes.
- Contribute to quality and timely submission of all project deliverables and documentation as assigned by the project leader.
- Assist in drafting narrative and quantitative reports when requested.
- Assist in documents’ translation as and when requested.
- Maintain and regularly update the Project folder in Google Drive.
- Effectively communicate with the project leader for any issues related to the project.

Safeguarding: Remain alert and responsive to any safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable promoting strong safeguarding practices, understanding the safeguarding policy and procedures.
Other details:
Internship period: from May 2024 until November 2024
Stipend per month: $250
Internship schedule: 6 hours per day (including Saturday & Sunday when needed), the remaining 3 days will be coordinated with the project leader
Qualifications
Education:
- Complete or In Process Bachelor education degree.
Experience
- 0 -1 years of experience, preferably with international non-profits organizations
- Experience in using Microsoft Office.
