Centers Rental- North Lebanon
The René Moawad Foundation (RMF) is launching a tender for renting community centers in North Lebanon.
The René Moawad Foundation (RMF) has a zero tolerance to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse of beneficiaries. Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) is everyone’s responsibility and all staff are required to adhere to the Code of Conduct, that enshrines principles of PSEA, always (both during work hours and outside work hours). Familiarization with, and adherence to, the Code of Conduct is an essential requirement of all staff, in addition to related mandatory training. All staff must ensure that they understand and act in accordance with this clause.

Summary:
RMF is seeking proposals for renting community centers in North Lebanon in Zgharta, Batroun, Koura, Tripoli and Menieh- Denniyeh. The community centers will serve as vital hubs for social, cultural, educational, and recreational activities. To ensure equitable access, proper maintenance, and sustainability, these centers are available for rent to individuals and/or organizations for various activities. This TOR sets out the terms, conditions, and guidelines for renting and using these facilities.
Purpose:
The purpose of this TOR is to establish the rules and regulations for the rental of community centers, ensuring that the centers serve the community’s needs in a fair, transparent, and efficient manner.
Scope:
This TOR applies to all community centers located in North Lebanon, available for social, cultural, educational, and recreational activities including but not limited to:
- Early Childhood Education (ECE)
- Basic Literacy and Numeracy (BLN)
- Youth Functional Skills (YBLN)
- Adapted Basic Literacy and Numeracy (ABLN)
- Retention Support (RS)
- Conferences, seminars, or trainings
- Cultural and recreational activities
Requirements for each center:
- Capacity: At least 10 classrooms (at least one window per classroom) and 4 restrooms (2 for boys, 2 for girls)
- Seating: Organized in groups of 17 seated children/youth and one desk for the Educator/Facilitator
- White board per classroom
- Ventilation System (AC/Heater)
- Electricity and Generator
- At least one restroom and 2 classrooms accessible for Personal with Special Needs.
- Preferably ground floor
- Accessible to children from the community
How to apply
Application Process:
Interested parties are invited to submit their proposals (including pictures of the building, classrooms, restrooms) in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined. The deadline for submissions is October 31st 2024 by email to [email protected]
The applicant should provide a copy of the lease of the Center and a copy of the ID of the owner.
Duration:
The project will span 12 months, starting on November 1, 2024.
Payment terms
The payment will be done on monthly basis.
If the above information, especially (the financial number) is not included, RMF shall deduct the due tax (8.5%) in accordance with the provisions of Articles 41 and 42 of the Income Tax Law.
