Call for tenders for the sub-contraction of Steel works including fence, Diesel tank, Gate, Concertina wires and their associated civil works at the composting facility in Hbaline

The Rene Moawad Foundation is launching a call for tenders for the sub-contraction of Steel works including fence, Diesel tank, Gate, Concertina wires and their associated civil works at the composting facility in Hbaline.

Brief Description of the Activity:

The Hbaline composting facility was inaugurated in November 2022 as a pilot facility serving large organic waste generators such as restaurants and wholesale vegetable markets. For security and logistical purposes, it was decided to install a steel fence around the perimeter of the facility, a concertina wire, a main gate entrance and a diesel tank. In addition, these works might need minor civil works for land preparation in terms of cut and fill to enhance the positioning of the steel fence’s posts.

Experience and technical qualifications:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Steel works related to installing Gates, Fence and any related works
• Relevant experience in working the mentioned works including the land preparation aspect of the activity
• Proven track record of well delivered contracting projects. Letters of recommendations are an advantage.
• Sound knowledgeable of the institutions of Mediterranean region and international organizations such as the EU as an advantage;

Scope of Work 

• Fence: "Install A fence of iron mesh (height 2 m) coated plastic green color attached to horizontal galvanized steel pipes (0.75 inch diameter) and to vertical galvanized steel pipes (1.5 inch diameter-2mm th-L=2.5m ),which embedded in concrete ,every 2.5m long. Total perimeter maximum 100m.
• Gate: "Main gate with double leave hinged door with chain, lock and door stops

• Works must be concluded 15 days after contract signature
