Red Oak is a leading Lebanese-based non-profit organization that promotes innovative approaches to existing social, educational, and cultural structures through education, art, art therapy, and mental health, for the protection of children, and the empowerment of women and girls, with special attention for people with disabilities. It uses empowerment to foster and implement new ideas by promoting creative processes, thoughts, and tools.

We are looking for a case manager to join our team immediately.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Identify children in need of case management;
  • Ensure that informed consent/assent is taken before opening a case;
  • Assess received cases, prioritizing them according to risk level;
  • Manage cases with respect for confidentiality and in accordance with national Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Red Oak guidelines;
  • Determine needs of the child and family by completing intake interviews, including legal, therapeutic, medical, psychosocial, and psychiatric evaluations;
  • Handle case assignments, draft service plans, review case progress, and determine case closure;
  • Record case information, accurately completing all necessary forms and producing case reports of quality reports; 
  • Weekly report and weekly narrative report;
  • Regularly monitor and support children and families, providing guidance, advice and emotional support, community mediation and referrals;
  • Participate in weekly meetings and assessments, sharing progress and obstacles with the team;
  • Regularly follow up to ensure all services and action points listed in the case plan are carried out within agreed timeframes;
  • Regularly document cases using case notes and other agreed-upon forms, update databases to ensure a comprehensive record of the case;
  • Store and file CP data ensuring the confidentiality of the information collected and the services
  • Experience and qualifications:
  • Degree in Social Work or Psychology.
  • Preferably 2 years of experience in a case management position.
  • Experience with NGO/INGO organization for at least a year.
  • Knowledge of the theoretical framework needed for working with children and families.
  • Demonstrated understanding of working with children and preferably children with disabilities.
  • Previous work experience in implementing child protection programs.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent psychosocial support skills.
