Business Development Assistant - Entry Level

Business Development Assistant, you will:

-Research and identify business opportunities in nonprofit and private sectors, particularly in the MENA region.

-Develop and write high-quality proposals, in collaboration with internal teams;

-Ensure that the Organisation portoflio and any other needed documents are up to date to support business development efforts 

-Monitor market trends and provide updates on business development activities and outcomes.

-Support in the development of engagement strategies and tracking systems; 

-Support in building relationships with clients and strategic partners to expand the firm’s client base.

-Support in the expansion strategy (new markets, sectors, etc..)

Qualification:

-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Development, or a related field.

-0-2 years of experience in business development, proposal writing, client engagement, or related roles.

-Experience or strong interest in the nonprofit sector and NGOs is a plus.

-Familiarity with private sector business development, especially in the MENA region, is highly desirable.

-Creative thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

-Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external stakeholders.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM tools and proposal development platforms is a plus.

Experience:

Preferred Experience:

-Nonprofit Sector: Prior experience working with NGOs, nternational organizations, or nonprofit consulting is a plus, especially in roles involving proposal writing or donor relations.

-Private Sector: Exposure to business development, sales, or client relationship management in the private sector, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with the MENA region's market dynamics.

-Proposal Development: Hands-on experience with developing bids, proposals, or business pitches tailored to various stakeholders, including donors and corporate clients.

-Collaborative Projects: Experience coordinating across teams (e.g., Programmes, Finance, HR) to align efforts and achieve business goals.

-Cross-Sector Knowledge: Awareness of topics such as Climate Change, CSR, Gender/GESI, ESG compliance, or AI-driven innovations is advantageous.
