Training of Trainers for Entrepreneurship Program

We are shortlisting candidates for the ToT and invite interested firms to submit a Letter of Interest detailing their expertise in curriculum development, entrepreneurship and delivering ToTs as follows:

 

The right partner for us in an organization or consortium of organizations/consultants with different skills sets and backgrounds. The skill sets required at every stage of the project are as follows:

 

1.Revision of EC Curricula:

  • Has at least 5 years of service design work and service design training;
  • Has a proven track record of producing learning and/or training curricula
  • At least one team member must be a native Arabic speaker who can professionally translate written content from English to Arabic. Final content must be edited for mistakes.

 

2.Revision of Financial Bootcamp and Incubation:

  • Has at least 5 years of entrepreneurship experience and has extensive experience with supporting and mentoring entrepreneurs, SMEs and/or startups
  • Has a proven track record of producing learning and/or training curricula
  • At least one team member must be a native Arabic speaker who can professionally translate written content from English to Arabic. Final content must be edited for mistakes.

 

3.ToT Development and Delivery:

  • At least 2 team members are experienced facilitators. At least one must be an Arabic speaker.
  • Has a at least 10 years of experience designing and delivering Training of Trainers workshops

 

We understand that it may be difficult to find all of the required skillsets within one organization or person therefore we will be accepting applications with different operating modalities such as, but not restricted to the following:

 

  • A local design thinking expert with extensive ToT experience but lacks business/entrepreneurial know-how partners with an accelerator/incubator and onboards a translator
  • A design thinking expert and startup consultant partner both may have the know-how and curricula design experience but lack the ToT component may partner with an experienced ToT professional to support.
  • Any submission must demonstrate experience working with projects with NGOs and/or UN agencies;

 

The Letter of Interest should be detailed but no more than 5 pages and must be received by 12pm on the 14th of March 2019.

Shortlisted applicants will be asked to prepare a more detailed proposal.

A contract will be drafted with the winning providers that will outline the roles, responsibilities and interests of each counterpart before the project begins.
