Job Description:
The executive assistant will support the Dialeb team to carry out many projects and initiatives. The EA will coordinate with the team and prepare periodical status reports. Further, the EA will assist the office manager with ensuring the different programs and initiatives are running smoothly (i.e. Diabetes Relief and #DiabetesMedication4 all); supporting work flow processes and ensuring programs and activities are operating smoothly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the team with daily operations
  • Document & gather information in both English and Arabic
  • Support the team in the development of work plans, reports, presentations, training materials, action plans, excel files)
  • Manage program status ensuring deliverables and milestones are on track and deadlines are being met
  • Respond to and assist patients who reach out to DiaLeb for support
  • Gather patient information and input the data (filing of each patient)
  • Attend meetings and prepare summaries and minutes of meetings
  • Assist in outreach and planning of collaborations for DiaLeb’s activities
  • Liaise with the International Diabetes Organization (IDF) – which includes providing periodic reports on DiaLeb activities, submitting briefs and updates on World Diabetes Day activities, etc…
  • Assist in social media management and content creation
  • Assist with the website management (Managing article posts on the blog, updating information related to events, etc…)


  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Business Administration, or any other field of relevance to the advertised position
  • Minimum of 3-5 years work experience in a similar role, preferably in the NGO sector
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in organization of events and meetings
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of standard MS-office software
  • Proficiency in (verbal/written) English and Arabic
