We are currently seeking to hire a Proposal Writing and Reporting Officer to join our team at NAHNOO.

Duties and responsibilities
With input from the organization’s Executive Director, Programs Manager and Fundraising and Financial Managers, the position holder will be responsible for:
- Writing NAHNOO’s proposals aligned with the NGO’s strategic plan
- Writing grant reports in a results-based and timely manner to donors

Regarding proposal writing:
To write down modular concept notes (current and potential) of interest for NAHNOO.
To draft and submit a high quality project proposal every time a call for proposal is identified as falling within NAHNOO’s strategic plan.
To conduct extensive research on potential fundraising grant opportunities (national, regional and international).
To establish a donor database and watch system for any new call for proposals.
To follow up with donor requirements consequent to grant applications.

Regarding reporting:
To ensure that all relevant data from the field is captured and documented during NAHNOO’s events & activities.
To analyze and report these information in a results-based and timely manner to donors, as well as prepare any document necessary to cover NAHNOO’s projects ensuring impact of the work is reflected.
To undertake field visits to collect information (through interviews for example) and results related to our granted projects.
To ensure and maintain continuous effective communication with donors regarding grants management processes.

General qualifications:
Level of academic background: BA or BS, preferably in Political Sciences, Business, International Affairs and similar (A Masters degree preferable)
Relevant experience in project proposal writing, preferably for NGOs
Good knowledge of the NGO sector, existing donors and networks (national, regional and international)
Proficiency in MS Office skills
Strong communication skills – written and verbal
Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic
Good organizational skills, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines
Analytical thinking
Team spirit
Detail-oriented
