Call for collaboration proposals
Montessori for Lebanon (Affiliated with AMI) is excited to invite collaboration proposals for innovative projects rooted in the principles and values of Montessori education. We aim to foster a collaborative environment where NGOs, private companies, institutions, and individuals can develop initiatives that promote child-centered learning and holistic development based on the educational approach laid out by Dr. Maria Montessori.
We are seeking proposals for a collaboration with Montessori for Lebanon that:
- Are aligned with Montessori Principles: Projects should reflect the core values of Montessori education, including respect for the child, independence, and the importance of a prepared environment.
- Target Diverse Audiences: Initiatives may focus on various age groups, communities, or educational contexts, aiming to enhance access to Montessori education.
- Demonstrate Sustainability: Proposals should outline how the initiative will be sustained over time, including potential partnerships and funding strategies.
- Include Training and Mentoring Needs: Highlight any specific training or mentoring requirements your project may have. Montessori for Lebanon is pleased to offer AMI Montessori Training Courses at a discounted rate, along with ongoing support and community workshops.
Please note that Montessori for Lebanon is in no way offering to finance the proposed initiatives but rather to support such initiatives by empowering and equipping the team members with the necessary educational knowledge.
Montessori for Lebanon is affiliated with Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) which was established in 1929 by Dr Maria Montessori in order to protect and preserve the integrity of her life’s work. After her death in 1952, it was led by some of her closest collaborators, including her son Mario and her granddaughter Renilde Montessori. AMI’s fidelity to the highest standards of Montessori theory and practice ensures that teaching is tied to a fundamental understanding of child development - and that each child’s distinct personality and independence are nurtured throughout their educational journey. AMI is the trusted international provider of high-quality Montessori training through its centres and affiliated societies in over 50 countries.
