Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of the ongoing project, ensuring that all activities are completed according to the defined scope, budget, and timeline.
  •  Develop project plans, including schedules, resources, and budgets, and monitor their implementation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of project goals and objectives.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment within the project team, promoting effective teamwork and communication.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and prepare reports for management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

Job Qualifications:

  • In depth knowledge of the political structure and dynamics in Lebanon.
  • Leadership skills: Coordinating with project teams  to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Stress tolerance: Ability to work under pressure.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly reports and status updates to keep stakeholders informed about project's status.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Documentation: Creating and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Quality control: Ensuring that project's deliverables meet the required quality standards.
  • Reporting to project manager.
  • Background
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field (e.g., project management, political science, international relations) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in INGO/ NGO projects management and partnerships management.
  • Good knowledge about the political structure in Lebanon.
  • Experience with budgeting and procurement procedures and documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills.
  • Experience in capacitating local partner is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English. French is a plus.
