Lutheran World Relief (LWR), a 501(c)(3) non-governmental organization founded in 1945 and headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, today works around the world to end poverty, injustice and human suffering. LWR focuses its work on emergency relief and sustainable agricultural development assistance to lay a foundation for food security, resilience, climate adaptation, and strengthening value chains. The mentorship program is part of the Quest Program, which links women entrepreneurs with experienced mentors for guidance and support. The mentorship program aims to enhance the financial literacy skills of women entrepreneurs by providing them with 6 one-on-one session, a mix of virtual and in-person meetings, and one mandatory workplace visit. The mentors will specialize in financial literacy for micro and small women-led enterprises and will be responsible for assessing the mentees' progress and linking them with relevant resources in their business sector.

The consultant will capture, through photos and film, key events and activities from Lutheran World Relief’s (LWR) WGDP. The consultant will also serve as Arabic – English translator and production assistant for an LWR videographer charged with producing 4 short videos to capture the project and three success stories from a selection of 15 project participants.
The consultant will accompany LWR’s videographer in-person. Before LWR’s videographer arrives in Lebanon, the consultant will have an online meeting and plan filming of content.

The Community Project Coordinator will oversee and follow-up on the implementation of social cohesion activities that will be implemented by three local partner organizations and ensure the project meets LWR standards of implementation, M&E, reporting and donor requirements. S/he will also provide logistics and administrative support for project and office functions when needed. The Project Coordinator will report to the Deputy Program Manager.
This position is a 4-month replacement for Maternity until our original Project Coordinator resumes duty. Start date 1st Sept 2022

Corus International is seeking a Loan/Grant Officer to implement a forthcoming project focused on women entrepreneurs in Lebanon. The position will be based in Beirut, for which Lutheran World Relief (LWR) will have to finance women entrepreneurs or enterprises owned by women. The key role of the Loan/Grant Officer will be to work with LWR partner Micro-Finance Institution (MFI) to assess, identify and evaluate the enterprises of women program participants to determine their eligibility and capacity to receive a loan and/or a grant to support their enterprises and help them create jobs.
