KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Conduct thorough market studies to identify potential suppliers, products, and services.
- Develop and implement effective procurement plans to meet organizational and project needs.
- Execute procurement processes, including drafting Call for tenders, RFQs, evaluating bids, minutes of selection, contracts etc.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure cost-effective procurement solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Monitor and assess supplier performance to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
- In collaboration with the PMs and the communication officer, Coordinate logistics for training sessions, conferences, and other events.
- Monitor and track the delivery status of supplies, ensuring that the received items meet the specified specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, goods reception notes, completion reports etc.
- Conduct regular audits to track inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and reorder as needed.
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources and minimize wastage through effective inventory controls.
REQUIREMENTS FOR POSTION
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:
Your knowledge, experience & skills:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in the procurement field.
- A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in procurement management, public administration procurement policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with relevant procurement regulations and best practices and proficient in using procurement tools.
- Excellent verbal and written language skills in Arabic and English are required.

- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling procurement documentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, such as project managers, finance teams, and end-users, to understand their needs and requirements.
