Established in 2023, the SSE Task Force was created to advance social entrepreneurship in Lebanon amid ongoing social, economic, and environmental challenges. This collaborative initiative unites key stakeholders to address the challenges faced by social enterprises and strengthen the SSE ecosystem. The task force was initially supported by the SEE CHANGE project, previously funded by the European Union and implemented by a consortium including Oxfam, COSV, and Beyond Group.

The Lebanese Social Enterprises Association (LSE) is committed to supporting social enterprises and promoting the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) in Lebanon. 

LSE aims to provide the necessary support to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of the SSE Task Force. This includes enhancing the visibility of the SSE Task Force, building collaboration among stakeholders, and advocating for supportive policies and legal frameworks. The Task Force operates through four committees—Program, Legal, Fundraising, and Communication—each dedicated to specific objectives and co-leads key deliverable, all contributing to the strengthening of the SSE ecosystem in Lebanon.

Role Description

  • Develop and integrate a dedicated SSE Task Force page within LSE website.
  • Optimize the page for performance, SEO, and responsiveness across devices.
  • Design and build databases and provide ongoing support .
  • Gather insights for enhancing website user experience and performance.
  • Deliver high quality work while respecting deadlines.
  • Design visually compelling layouts, icons, banners, and other digital assets.
  • Communicate and coordinate with LSE team to understand the TF goals, target audiences, and unique value propositions.
  • Ensure brand consistency across digital channels.
  • Develop tailored online marketing strategies that align with the TF brand identities and objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new platform features, and incorporate relevant updates.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience working with NGOs or social impact organizations.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in web development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English.
