Lost is seeking to recruit a Case Worker in Majdel Anjar.

Responsibilities:

Training and Awareness:

  • Conduct training and awareness sessions on protection issues.
  • Assessment and Case Prioritization:
  • Perform initial assessments for protection-related matters.
  • Evaluate and prioritize cases based on risk levels.
  • Service Mapping and Reporting:
  • Provide detailed mapping of available services and organizations in the area.
  • Compile reports with relevant information.

Case Management:

  • Develop case management plans based on needs identified during evaluations.
  • Regularly identify individuals in the community requiring case management.
  • Refer and track all services, ensuring timely completion of action items.
  • Review and adjust action plans as needed to ensure progress.

Standards and Documentation:

  • Manage cases in line with national practical standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Document cases with detailed case notes and regularly update the database to maintain a comprehensive record.

Coordination and Meetings:

  • Participate in relevant caseworker meetings.
  • Ensure coordination with key service providers in the intervention area for prompt response.

General Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Sociology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, preferably in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
