Terms of Reference (TOR for Recruitment of Research & Learning Project Manager at ADYAN Foundation
Position Title: Projects Manager
Location: Lebanon
Reporting to: Programs Director
Introduction: ADYAN Foundation is seeking an innovative and experienced Research and Learning Manager to lead and implement projects focused on diversity, Freedom of Religion and Belief, and Inclusive Citizenship. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in research, project management, and learning development, with a passion for promoting inclusivity and human rights.
Main Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of projects related to diversity, FoRB, and inclusive citizenship as well as other topics within the Research and Learning Unit. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and other required documents.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project goals are met, while monitoring project progress to ensure successful implementation.
- Manage the team within the Research and Learning Unit.
Research:
- Produce necessary and relevant content related to Adyan’s main values and concepts.
- Develop, maintain and update a database of relevant and update data, reports and resources for internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee research & analytical reports as well as policy briefs and publications developed and disseminated by Adyan Foundation.
- Oversee all research components of projects across departments.
- Stay updated on latest methodologies, trends and best practices in the field.
Learning & Development:
- Design and implement learning programs and workshops for different participants across the MENA region to promote understanding and implementation of diversity, FoRB, and inclusive citizenship principles – to name a few.
- Contribute to the development of training materials, toolkits and guidebooks.
- Contribute to the development of offline and online courses.
- Manage TeachCoexistence, Adyan’s e-learning platform.
- Develop a comprehensive training curriculum on Adyan’s concept to be shared with new Adyan employees, network members and the public.
Collaboration and Networking:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, academic institutions (schools and universities), as well as community groups.
- Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and other academic events.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Contribute to the development of Monitoring & Evaluation Framework, pre, during and post implementation.
- Contribute to the development of new proposals to ensure project sustainability.
- Collect and analyze data to understand the effectiveness and influence of research and learning programs at Adyan.
- Prepare comprehensive reports to donors.
Support with Communication:
- Collaborate with the communication team to highlight the unit’s activities and achievements.
- Contribute to the development of communication materials and strategies.
Representation:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors and partners.
- Represent Adyan in relevant networks
