  • A cover letter outlining relevant experience and qualifications with a clear link to the above deliverables. The cover letter should also include a clear commitment to work ethically, and that the potential candidate has not received any warning in breach of good governance, and ethical behavior in any of his/her past work experiences.

Education/ Experience Skills- Essential               

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited University with a major course in Business administrative/Management, social sciences, political science,s finance, a master is a plus.  
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of relative experience, preferably with national and international NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) (should be named in the cover letter and clearly stated in CV). 
  • Strong planning, communications, and coordination skills. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and within a team. 
  • Very good writing skills for reporting and communication. 
  • Ability to write and conduct research without ChatGPT or any AI (Artificial Intelligence) tool. 
  • Ability to multi-task effectively, display professionalism, confidence, accuracy, transparency, and high ethical standards. 
  • Fluency in English and Arabic written and spoken. (French is a plus and highly desirable).

Description: 

LLWB is looking for full-time Project officer based in Beirut, Dekwaneh, to handle projects tasks and timeline and to conduct research on the women’s issues and challenges from gender and economic perspective in Lebanon.

Main tasks and deliverables are: 

Projects planning and coordination: 

  • Assist in developing a detailed action plan including timeline, deliverables, and milestone for projects 
  • Coordinate with team members and stakeholders when requested to ensure alignment the project's objectives are met within deadline,  
  • Monitor project progress, in written, report challenges, and risk that might affect the project implementation and success. 
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports, presentation, and minutes of meetings and send them to Project Manager and executive Director for approval. 
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports for the project manager and the executive director on projects implementation. 
  • Support in organizing and attend all the meetings including preparing agenda and minutes of meetings. 
  • Collecting pre and posttest and feedback for the monitoring and evaluation project. 
  • Assist in the monitoring and evaluation preparation and reporting.  

Logistics and finance: 

  • Organize and prepare logistics for trainings, workshops and events including agenda, attendance sheet, video, and camera, consent forms roll up banner. 
  • Assist in closing out the project, including finalizing reports, document success stories in writing and video shooting, documentation, and deliverables are also gathered. 
  • Finance:  Filing of documents and scanning and categorize the transactions as per filing system and as per finance officer Request. 

Research:

  • Conduct research on women’s right in Lebanon including women situation in the economy. Targeted desk research will be to gather and compile research on work environment, economic empowerment, taxations for SMEs ect.  
  • Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and developments on women economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, gender equality and provide analysis and recommendations based on emerging evidence.
