About the Program:

LLWB, in partnership with KAS (Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung), is conducting a multisectoral dialogue program aiming to amend discriminatory policies and procedures in Lebanon.

The main first theme under the program is related to how to enhance and amend the current legislation related to labor law and policies. Through its collaboration with KAS, LLWB in 2024 is working on amending discriminatory legislation in Lebanon and gathering recommendations from a pool of various stakeholders on issues aiming at enhancing women economic empowerment and inclusion of all in the workplace, as per LLWB’s mission and vision.

In this regard, LLWB is organizing a roundtable discussion with specific stakeholders from the Academic, NGO, and private sector and some public institutions, including government representatives, syndicates, the private sector, civil society organizations, and academic experts. The private sector (including women-led MSMEs), the public sector (including formal institutions), and civil society organizations (CSOs) from various backgrounds, fields, and regions in Lebanon.
