Role Summary

The Community Service Project Coordinator organizes, coordinates, and oversees Community
Service Projects in compliance with USAID Grant policies and procedures, in
particular on the HES I award, and possibly on other similarly funded awards,
with similar job requirements.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Organizes, tracks and oversees Community Service Projects (CSP) implementation in accordance with USAID award guidelines.
  • Guarantees that CSP funding is effectively allocated in accordance with ADS list and set budget limits
  • Collaborates and follows up with program staff to make sure that students' CSPs are completed on schedule
  • Serves as a liaison between LAU’s respective departments
  • Ensures CSP items are delivered on time
  • Assists scholars in submitting the Community Service Project (CSP) template
  • Follows up with students on the implementation date of the CSP
  • Ensures CSP report submission by students
  • Orders in due time, through Oracle software, the required items, and ensures follow-up
  • Updates CSP budget per project and requests supplies accordingly

 

  • Attends CSPs for documentation and supports students in implementation (many CSPs occur on weekends)
  • Produces and keeps up-to-date thorough project plans, assessments, and reports
  • Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned or appropriate

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a grant-related field
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong communication skills and fluent in Arabic and English; both written and spoken
  • Ability to take initiative
  • High Organization skills
  • Team player
