Content Manager for an educators’ digital platform

Description: 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute our content strategy, respecting our methodologies and procedures.
  • Conduct research and analyze data to identify content opportunities and optimize content.
  • Build a team of consultants and seek partnership with the education field.
  • Create and edit high-quality, engaging interactive content for our platforms.
  • Manage the editorial calendar and ensure that all content is delivered on time and meets our high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that content aligns with our values and pedagogical methodologies.
  • Track and report on content performance metrics and use insights to improve our content strategy and drive engagement.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content management or subject matter coordination.
  • Technology proficiency, comfortable with using a range of technology tools and platforms to create and deliver their materials. They must have knowledge of e-learning platforms, learning management systems, mainly Moodle, authoring tools, mainly H5P plugins and multimedia software.
  • Learning objectives understanding, define clear and measurable learning objectives that will guide the development of the learning materials. These objectives must be aligned with the goals of the strategy of the organization.
  • Content development, strong writing and editing skills to create high-quality content that is engaging, informative, and effective; ability to organize and structure the content in a friendly manner.
  • Instructional strategies, able to choose and apply effective instructional strategies to deliver the content in a way that engages the learners and helps them achieve the learning objectives. This may involve selecting appropriate media, designing interactive activities, and incorporating feedback mechanisms.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with experience creating and editing content across a variety of digital channels.
  • Experience managing editorial calendars, content planning, and content production.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to inform content strategy and measure performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
