Founded in May 2015, Karma is a Lebanese non-profit, non-governmental organisation registered with the Lebanese Ministry of Interior in November 2015 under the registration number 2565. Karma’s vision is to ensure financial and psychosocial support for underprivileged children/youth suffering from Cancer or Thalassemia, making no distinction based on nationality, origin, or religious/ ethnic affiliation. On the 1st of June 2023, Karma started a thalassemia project, funded by MSF France for a period of 12 months, aiming at providing comprehensive multidisciplinary care, free of charge, for a specific number of paediatric patients with thalassemia, residing in Lebanon.
