Karma - Association For Diseased Children And Adolescents In Lebanon

Karma was founded in May 2015. The organization focuses mainly on tertiary healthcare among the deprived segment of the Lebanese and the refugee population. Karma's work includes the following: 1) to refer the patient to specialized doctors/hospitals for treatment; 2) to refer the patient to other national and international organizations for financial help; 3) to accompany the patient and his/her family in the period of treatment; 4) to partly or fully cover the patient's treatment financially. In 2015, Karma aims to secure the financial coverage of cancer treatment for ill children and adolescents among the refugee population in Lebanon.
