Justice without Frontiers (JWF) is a nongovernmental, juristic organization, incorporated in November 2005 and headquartered in Beirut. Our role is to develop and promote Law Projects that support Human Rights and to achieve a just society where all its citizens have equal rights to access Justice. Justice without Frontiers gathers volunteer lawyers, law professionals, and passionate individuals who believe in Human Rights principles and are dedicated to work towards prosecuting violators and supporting victims who have no access to justice, at the national, regional, and international levels.
Justice without Frontiers (JWF) aims to achieve its objectives through prosecuting human right violators in national, regional, and international courts, providing legal assistance and legal representation to victims of violence, torture, and abuse and representing them in such courts. 

 

The Logistics/Field will have the following responsibilities:

  1. Conduct field assessments, coordinate with local partners and stakeholders, and oversee the direct implementation of project activities.
  2.  Facilitate the logistical planning and coordination of training sessions, workshops, and field visits, including transportation, accommodations, and procurement of materials.
  3. Liaise with clients in planning procurement and contracting initiatives, supporting development of appropriate specifications, terms of reference, and logistics arrangements and timelines.
  4.  Take into account opportunities to strengthen sustainability of supply chains. 
  5. Following and enforcing JWF's procurement policies and procedures

     

  6. Prepare and process Request for Quotations (RFQs), Invitations to Bid (ITBs) and Requests for proposals (RFPs)
  7. Organize bid openings and conduct technical and financial analysis of offers 
  8.  Conduct clarifications and negotiations with suppliers. 
  9. Maintain highest level of integrity, ethical standards, and accountability in the procurement of goods, contracting of services 
  10. Keep stakeholders/partners informed on the progress.  Liaise with suppliers, ensuring timely follow‐up on delivery schedules
  11. Ensure appropriate filing of procurement cases and maintain up to date records for future reference including for audit
  12. Maintain up‐to‐date files for all Procurement Service transactions, including a system for monitoring the different stages of each transaction.
  13. Receives the goods and services ordered, proceeds with the quality and quantity check, ensuring that the goods/works/services received complies with the technical specifications of the procurement.
  14. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly procurement reports

 

Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree in Business or any relevant field
  • 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven knowledge and experience of international supply chain operations
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Fluent in Arabic and Proficient in English, both written and spoken 
  • Good team work, time management, and analysis skills
