Consultant – Cyberbullying Specialist

JWF is looking to hire a  cyberbullying expert – consultant to create an engaging, informative, and age-appropriate brochure for children that educates them about cyberbullying, its effects, how to recognize it, and steps to take to prevent or respond to it.

The consultant will be responsible for researching, designing content, and structuring the brochure to be visually appealing and easy to understand for a young audience.

Tasks and Deliverables

• • Develop a content outline for the brochure, covering key topics:
    • What is cyberbullying?
    • How can kids recognize cyberbullying online?
    • Emotional effects of cyberbullying on the victim.
    • How to report cyberbullying.
    • Ways to protect oneself online.
    • What to do if they or someone they know is being cyberbullied.
  • Ensure the structure flows logically and is easy for kids to navigate.
  • Write clear, concise, and engaging content suitable for children, using positive, empowering language, and age appropriate.
  • Use a friendly tone with motivating messages, encouraging children to seek help, report issues, and not to participate in bullying behaviors.
  • Highlight key safety measures for children to follow when interacting online.

Reporting Lines:

The Consultant will be reporting directly to the director of the organization.

Skills and Experience Required:

• At least five years of experience working as a cyberbullying consultant
• Bachelor's degree in Political Sciences or relevant field
• Experience with a humanitarian or international organization
• Organized and able to meet deadlines
• Good time management
