Within the project “Measures Program for Al-Ostouan River Basin” funded by the “Leb Relief”
Al-Nour Association implements the project “Al-Ostouan is a Life Line", With the aim of increasing the awareness of the resident population about the uses of water in homes and irrigation of crops in the towns of Al-Bireh,Mazraat Baldeh and Kafar Harra.

Al Nour Association requests 1trainer to work with it on a voluntary basis to implement awareness sessions on water for the resident Lebanese and displaced Syrian.

1- Responsibilities:

The trainer will prepare educational content for a detailed explanation of the importance of drip irrigation, with the aim of trainees acquiring and practicing the skills required in the field of irrigation. His mission is based on:

  • Develop and present training course plans in coordination with the project manager.
  • Preparing work plans and progress reports while adhering to quality standards.
  • Collaborate and work closely with the project team to improve delivery and ensure smooth work process.
  • Follow up on the trainee farmers’ progress and attendance and prepare backup plans for the challenges they face.
  • Preparing tests, worksheets and other activities.
  • Support the promotion of a program to rationalize water use through drip irrigation.
  • Guiding trainee farmers at the vocational training level: project design and implementation, following quality standards, and taking advantage of available resources.
  • Design and deliver a training course for farmers on the topic of good use of water in agriculture.
  • Research and integrate best practices for water conservation into agricultural activities.
  • Design interactive activities and presentations to engage participants and reinforce basic concepts about water-saving irrigation techniques.
  • Facilitate discussions to address questions, concerns and real-world applications related to water use, especially in the agricultural field.
  • Providing practical advice and resources for applying water saving techniques in daily life, especially in agriculture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that training content meets the needs of the target audience.
  • Monitor participants' progress and modify training approach as needed to maximize learning outcomes.

2-Qualifications:

  • Ability to design and deliver training sessions for trainers.
  • The ability to design content about the optimal use of water in homes and agriculture.
  • The content must be easy for farmers.
  • At least five years of experience in the field of training in modern irrigation.
  • Previous experience in training farmers in modern irrigation is a plus.
  • Experience working with non-governmental organizations.
  • Experience in creating training content and in the agricultural field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility, and Ability to adapt content to different learning styles and audience demographics.
  • Passion for promoting sustainability and agriculture stewardship.
  • Any university or professional degree in any field.
