JOB SUMMARY:  Supports Health field team and directly supervises the Health field team in implementing project activities. Coordinates with M&E for reporting and data collection. Coordinates with external stakeholders on a regional/community level and works with the accountability team on addresses community complaints.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Support the Health field team by conducting joint field visits to Primary Health Care Centers:  
     o    monitoring and improving on processes contributing to program indicators 
     o    routine revision of Primary Health Care Centers improvement plan, meeting with relevant stakeholders 
     o    providing any needed technical support  
     o    guidance on the selection of health promotion and disease prevention activities planned by the Health field team and Primary Health Care Centers 

•    Internal Coordination: with all other IMC Field Staff to ensure smooth and proper implementation of program 
     o    Track Non-food items distribution 

•    External Coordination: Participate in the sectoral meetings and other stakeholder meeting if requested by supervisor 

•    Reporting: collect and submit monthly reports prepared by the health field team.  
     o    Review EWARN weekly findings if requested  
     o    Liaise with Health Information System team to contact MoPH where training on the health information system is required 
     o    Coordinate with the M&E team to collect all requested data and analysis 

•    Coordinate with community health team, accountability team, and partner organizations regarding patient referral 

•    Capacity Building for Primary Health Care Centers 
     o    Identify training needs at the supported centers 
     o    Provide support and guidance to health field team when developing and delivering in-house capacity building activities as required 

•    Report back on a daily basis to the health field management team on all activities in the field. 

•    Community-based Feedback: Respond to complaints sent through accountability hotline 

•    Compile and review all diagnostic tracking sheets and compare with payment 

•    Accompany field team during donor visits as requested by the supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS *

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•    Typically, a Bachelor’s in Nursing or any other medical field. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
•    Typically, 4+ years of relevant experience in similar position.
•    Excellent communication skills 
•    Able to work within a team 
•    Strong commitment to work 
•    Able to work under stress 
•    Strong commitment to the organization and its value
Desirable
•    Master’s degree in Public Health is a plus  
•    NGO experience  
•    Experience in Primary Health care 
•    Senior position at a Hospital, PHCC, or any Health-focused NGO
•    Advanced reporting skills both qualitative and quantitative  
•    Advanced Microsoft excel skills
