The consultant will work as a recreational Activities Trainer – Painting Instructor, responsible for conducting painting sessions.

Background:

The Psychosocial Support Activities Trainer – Painting Instructor aims to equip beneficiaries with fundamental knowledge and techniques in basic painting skills.

Purpose:

This scope of work aims to engage the services of a consultant to strategize, travel to, and execute Painting Group activities.

Task Description:

  • The Consultant will assume the role of recreational Activities Trainer – Painting Instructor for a project based in Lebanon. The Consultant will fulfill the following tasks:
  • Lead engaging and interactive painting sessions for beneficiaries, providing step-by-step guidance and fostering a positive creative atmosphere.
  • Work with the program team to ensure all required painting materials are available and organized for each session.
  • Tailor painting activities to the participants' preferences and skill levels, ensuring an inclusive and enjoyable experience.
  • Collaboration with Program Team: Coordinate with the program team to align painting sessions with project objectives and integrate them into the program.
  • In addition to the training workshops, the Recreational Activities Trainer is expected to write a comprehensive report after the completion of each training cycle. The report template will be provided by the program team. This report should encompass a detailed overview of the training conducted, participants' engagement, key outcomes, and any recommendations for improvement.
  • Furthermore, the Recreational Activities Trainer should receive training in handling GBV disclosure and safe referral before commencing their work.

Specific Duties:

  • Conduct basic Painting sessions.

Compliance & Ethics:

Promote and cultivate a culture of compliance and ethics within International Medical Corps. Maintain a clear understanding of International Medical Corps' and donor compliance and ethics standards, adhering to them in the execution of duties. Carry out work with the utmost integrity. Communicate these values to staff and partners, requiring their adherence.

Deliverables/Due Dates/Payment Schedule:

1 Session of Painting

Based on the submission of a task sheet and invoice

60 USD/Session

 

Fixed Price Fee:

Fees per one session of painting is 60USD.

Transportation fees from consultant address to sessions conducted in Akkar using consultant’s personal car are calculated based on the number of kilometers traveled per round trip as per IMC transportation policy matrix.

The fees will be paid based on the submission of a task sheet and invoice.

 

Location of Work: Consultant resides in Lebanon, will conduct her /his work in Akkar Area, and will be responsible for his/her own transportation. International Medical Corps will compensate for transportation fees based on the transportation policy matrix for sessions delivered in Akkar.
