Tasks and duties

  1. Develop and implement data management systems and procedures to ensure accurate and timely collection, storage, and retrieval of training-related data.
  2. Collaborate with various departments to identify data needs, design data collection tools, and establish data quality standards.
  3. Collect, validate, and enter training data into databases or information systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  4. Maintain and update training records, attendance sheets, and participant information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  5. Conduct regular data audits to identify discrepancies, resolve data quality issues, and ensure data integrity.
  6. Generate reports, data visualizations, and analytics to support program evaluation, performance monitoring, and decision-making.
  7. Collaborate with program managers and trainers to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop data tracking mechanisms.
  8. Provide training and support to staff members on data collection tools, database systems, and data entry protocols.
  9. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data management and recommend process improvements or system enhancements.
  10. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies, including obtaining necessary consent and managing data access permissions.
  11. Collaborate with external stakeholders and partners to exchange data, share reports, and support collaborative research or evaluation projects.
  12. Support the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to improve the effectiveness and impact of training programs.
  1. Assist in grant writing and reporting by providing accurate and relevant data, statistics, and program outcomes.
  2. Participate in data-related meetings, workshops, and trainings to enhance knowledge and skills in data management and analysis.
  3. Perform any other data-related tasks and duties assigned by the training center management.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience in data management principles, practices, and tools.
  • Proficiency in data management software, database systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent understanding of data privacy and protection regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and management.
  • Experience in designing data collection instruments and developing data entry protocols.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Access, and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with data quality assurance and data cleaning techniques.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle and manage large volumes of data.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis methods and techniques is preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a training or educational institution, is a plus.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging trends and advancements in data management practices.
