Tasks and duties
- Develop and implement data management systems and procedures to ensure accurate and timely collection, storage, and retrieval of training-related data.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify data needs, design data collection tools, and establish data quality standards.
- Collect, validate, and enter training data into databases or information systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update training records, attendance sheets, and participant information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Conduct regular data audits to identify discrepancies, resolve data quality issues, and ensure data integrity.
- Generate reports, data visualizations, and analytics to support program evaluation, performance monitoring, and decision-making.
- Collaborate with program managers and trainers to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop data tracking mechanisms.
- Provide training and support to staff members on data collection tools, database systems, and data entry protocols.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data management and recommend process improvements or system enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies, including obtaining necessary consent and managing data access permissions.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders and partners to exchange data, share reports, and support collaborative research or evaluation projects.
- Support the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to improve the effectiveness and impact of training programs.
- Assist in grant writing and reporting by providing accurate and relevant data, statistics, and program outcomes.
- Participate in data-related meetings, workshops, and trainings to enhance knowledge and skills in data management and analysis.
- Perform any other data-related tasks and duties assigned by the training center management.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in data management principles, practices, and tools.
- Proficiency in data management software, database systems, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent understanding of data privacy and protection regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and management.
- Experience in designing data collection instruments and developing data entry protocols.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Access, and familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data quality assurance and data cleaning techniques.
- Familiarity with project management principles and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle and manage large volumes of data.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis methods and techniques is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a training or educational institution, is a plus.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging trends and advancements in data management practices.
