Expression of Interest Invitation for Potential Partners in Jordan

International Alert (IA) Lebanon is looking for potential partnerships with local NGOs and CBO`s from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan based on synergies within areas of expertise. Interested organisations are invited to submit an “Expression of Interest-EOI” to partner with Alert in the framework of its upcoming programming including the co-development of proposals to new funding opportunities. 

International Alert is one of the world’s leading organisations working on peace and conflict, with nearly 30 years of experience in supporting community resilience and helping people find non-violent solutions to conflict and tensions. We work with people around the world to help them build peace, and we advise governments, organisations and companies on how to support peace. We offer a comprehensive set of services to help development and humanitarian organisations operate in a conflict-sensitive way. The central aim is to reduce their unintended negative impacts and support peace in different parts of the world. In Jordan, Alert has been implementing programmes in partnership with international and local organisations as per its capacity statement attached.

 

International Alert collaborates with a range of national, regional, and international partners. The partnerships have been developed and cultivated over many years with trust-building a central component of the relationship. Partnerships aim to enhance social stability and non-violent conflict resolution in communities as well as integrate social stability, Do No Harm, peacebuilding, and conflict sensitivity in work across various sectors such as education, child protection, health, livelihoods, sustainable economic development, gender, and climate change.

 

Alert is seeking potential partners who are interested in collaborating with the following eligible criteria listed below:

  1. Registered Organisations.
  2. Extensive experience in projects implementation following the common project-cycle management tools.
  3. Previous working experience in the non-governmental sector.
  4. Track record of strong partnership with local communities, community-based organisations, and government bodies in previous assignments.
  5. At least five years of working experience in the field of the sectors mentioned above.
  6. Qualified core staff at field level and management level and in addition to project areas.
  7. Sound financial management and internal financial control system with timely audit record.

EOI must be submitted prior to the deadline 31 March 2023, 5:00pm Beirut Time.

 

The submitted applications will be evaluated by Alert team to identify the selection of potential organisations based on the minimum eligibility criteria. Shortlisted organisations will be contacted later to submit any additional required documents. Not all submitted EOI are guaranteed for partnership.
