Responsibilities And Obligations:
- Assessment, analysis, clear intervention plan based on outcomes:
- Hotline: Ensure a proper reception and an accurate documentation of new cases to determine the nature and severity of the situation
- Conduct a primary assessment of new cases resulting in clear outcomes related to abuse, involving the psychologist when needed
- Conduct a thorough and comprehensive assessment of the reported cases, analyzing protection’s parameters related to the situation of abuse
- Plan a social intervention based on the appropriate method to the practice’s context
- Coordinate with the Senior Case Manager/Senior Social worker on entry-to-the-family strategies
- Support and interventions:
- Intervene with varied thematic in child maltreatment: emotional, physical, sexual abuse, neglect, child labor, marital conflicts, family dysfunction, children in need of alternative care, intercountry case management, etc.
- Conduct home visits with clear objectives
- Set objectives within the action plan established with the child and family Making sure that all measures taken are in line with the Resilience program’s guidelines, procedures, and SOP’s timeframe, with respect to the Lebanese Law
- Cover at least two shifts outside himaya’s center
- Reporting and multi-disciplinary collaboration:
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all case assessments, intervention plans, communications, and follow-up actions
- Commit to document and report as per the set deadlines and standards
- Coordinate with Psychologist and SCM on the progress of the cases on a monthly basis
- Refer families to appropriate services internally or external and other NGOs when needed
- Accompany the child/family to forensic doctors, courts, other NGOs upon the SCM's approval
- Commit to group initiatives that are intended to enhance performance: psychosocial workshop, brainstorming meeting, supervision, team activities…
- Miscellaneous:
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of himaya by effectively communicating information about its activities, projects, mission, values, and history
- Adhere to the mission and values of himaya by adopting and conveying its core values and concepts in both personal and professional contexts
- Participate in all activities and events organized by himaya (e.g., staff care, end-of-year gatherings…)
- Respect the Code of Conduct, the Child Protection Safeguarding Policy, the PSEAH Policy, and all internal regulations
