Job Title: Social Media Intern

Description:

The Social Media Intern will provide general support to the Engagement Team at Greenpeace Middle East and North Africa. This will allow the intern to develop new skills and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Greenpeace MENA’s digital campaigns. 

During your stay at Greenpeace MENA, you'll get 1st level hands-on training on social media, community management, data, and reporting.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

-Community management across different channels, as well as on emails, and website.

-Uploading and scheduling daily posts and stories on the different social media platforms.

-Contributing to the daily editorial meetings and supporting the coordination of the digital content development and distribution across different channels.

-Supporting in the tracking and reporting of social media metrics.

-Supporting in the ideation and development of social media content. 

Requirements: 

-Ability to meet deadlines is vital. 

-Strong knowledge of social media platforms. 

-Ability to create and adapt content through platforms like Photoshop, Canva, and native tools on Instagram and TikTok is a plus.

Qualifications:

Education: University degree in digital marketing, marketing, advertising, Audio-Visual or related fields. 

Language: Strong verbal and written communication skills in Arabic A very good knowledge of English is a must; French is desirable.

Our internships are meant for students or recent graduates who have completed their studies less than 2 years ago.
