Call of a Training on "Advocacy and Communication - Highlighting and Advocating on Gender Based Violence Topics Through the Media"

FRF is calling for young journalists residing in Lebanon to participate in a 3 day training on "Advocacy and Communication - Highlighting and Advocating on Gender Base Violence Topics Through the Media". 

This training will take place under the framework of “She Leads” project conducted by Family Rights Forum in partnership with Terre des Hommes Italy in Lebanon.

The training will raise awareness on the role of young journalists in creating social change especially when tackling topics related to human rights, gender equality, diversity and inclusion, VAWG, men engagement and masculinity; as well as enhancing their skills in developing media strategies to raise awareness and build advocacy messages to fit into different online and offline platforms. In addition to that, they will be able to understand the needs of communities and the project's objectives.

Host organization: Family Rights Forum

Target Group: Aged between 21 and 30 years old. Fresh graduates in the field of journalism, journalists with entry or mid-level experience, or journalists who work in the audio-visual industry who are interested in human, women, and children’s rights topics.

Dates: 11,12 and 13 of November 2022 (3 days)

يدعو الملتقى الحقوقي لقضايا الأسرة الصحفيين/ات الشباب المقيمين/ات في لبنان إلى المشاركة في تدريب لمدة 3 أيام حول "المناصرة والتواصل - تسليط الضوء والمناصرة على مواضيع العنف القائم على أساس النوع الاجتماعي والدعوة إليها من خلال وسائل الإعلام".

سيتم هذا التدريب في إطار مشروع "She Leads" الذي ينفذه الملتقى الحقوقي لقضايا الأسرة بالشراكة مع منظمة أرض الإنسان - إيطاليا في لبنان.

يهدف التدريب على زيادة الوعي بدور الصحفيين/ات الشباب في إحداث تغيير اجتماعي خاصة عند معالجة الموضوعات المتعلقة بحقوق الإنسان، والمساواة بين الجنسين، والتنوع والشمول، والعنف ضد المرأة، وإشراك الرجال، والذكورية؛ فضلا عن تعزيز مهاراتهم/ن في تطوير استراتيجيات وسائل الإعلام لزيادة الوعي وبناء رسائل الدعوة لتتناسب مع مختلف المنصات عبر الإنترنت وغير المتصلة بالإنترنت. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، سيكونون/يكنّ قادرين/ات على فهم احتياجات المجتمعات وأهداف المشروع.

الفئة المستهدفة: تتراوح أعمارهم بين 21 و 30 عاما. الخريجين الجدد في مجال الصحافة، الصحفيون/ات ذوي الخبرة المبتدئة أو المتوسطة المستوى، أو الصحفيون/ات الذين/اللواتي يعملون/ يعملن في المجال السمعي البصري، الذين/اللواتي لديهم/هن اهتمام بمواضيع حقوق الإنسان والمرأة والطفل.
