GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The field facilitator is a team member of the Embrace Mental Health Center and Embrace Mobile Mental Health Clinic, a traveling clinic that provides free psychiatric consultations to residents in various regions of Lebanese governorates. The field facilitator plays a crucial role by serving as the connecting point between the mobile clinic's beneficiaries and the mental health professionals during their field visits. This role encompasses field tasks such as managing admission intake processes and scheduling beneficiary appointments, among other responsibilities.

*Position requires presence on the field in remote areas 3 days a week. Travel takes place through the Mobile Mental Health Clinic.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answering telephone inquiries from beneficiaries and screening calls to determine nature and urgency of inquiry, referring calls as appropriate, scheduling appointments with practitioners or follow up appointments requested by practitioners; instructing beneficiaries as needed regarding administrative and/or logistical procedures.
  • Receiving, screening, and registering beneficiaries presenting for services in the Electronic Health Records System.
  • Maintaining call back records to provide follow-up for beneficiaries on appointments, or instructions as requested by practitioners.
  • Assisting the medical and psychological team with routine procedures, as appropriate to training and/or certification.
  • Providing day-to-day staff support for the operations, including preparing documents and reports, providing office services, scheduling, and facilitating meetings and travel arrangements, and/or providing dictation or transcription services.
  • Promoting the services of the Mobile Mental Health Clinic during on-site visits.
  • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure beneficiaries receive comprehensive care as needed.
  • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and serviceability of the centre facilities and equipment; arranging for maintenance and repair as needed.
  • Completing other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATON

Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration or psychology or social work
  • Minimum of 1-years relevant experience in healthcare clinical setting.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word- Excel- PowerPoint)
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Teams
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management Systems is desired

TIME COMMITMENT

40 hours a week office work (Full-time)
