Job Brief:

We’re looking for A Self Defense Trainer who can teach women and girls the discipline and techniques they need to succeed in facing sexual harassment. The ideal candidate will be patient, knowledgeable, and able to adapt their teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual women and girls. If you have a passion for Self Defense and helping others to reach their potential, then we want to hear from you!

Self Defense Trainer Duties:

  • Create a training program for any class level, including intermediate, high schools and university
  • Create curriculum and lesson plans for class sessions
  • Estimate class size and age group for each session
  • Plan practices to promote mastery of curriculum and techniques
  • Maintain efficient and orderly practice areas
  • Schedule practices and classes
  • Evaluate women and girls progress in class and after classes
  • Develop a reception program to welcome new women and girls
  • Maintain women and girls records, including attendance, grades, discipline, and test scores
  • Work as a role model for other women and girls

 

Self Defense Trainer Responsibilities:

  • Provide martial arts instruction to groups of women and girls
  • Lead adult and youth martial arts classes, including boxing, kickboxing, and street fighting, as well as self-defense, self-defense for women.
  • Make required reports to administration, including accident reports, enrollment numbers, and attendance records
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in facility and on premises
  • Develop, implement, and revise curriculum, including lesson planning, instructional techniques, and behavioral management

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • 2+ years’ teaching experience in Self – Defense
  • Previous experience instructing Children, women and girls
  • Ability to work with women and girls of all ages
  • Excellent communication skills, including oral and written
