Objective:

Employee health and welfare benefits are a critical component of GIZ rewards offering, the main objective of health insurance services for GIZ is to provide health coverage to all GIZ employees covered by an international health insurance provider.

Scope of Services:

The medical insurance service provider is expected to provide comprehensive in-patient and out-patient cover for all GIZ employees for a period of two years with possibility of extension of additional two years. The services should be easily available and accessible to all employees and their families.

An approximate number of 120 national staff employees and estimate 150 spouse and children must be covered with the international health corporate insurance 100% Co-Nill (in and out hospital).
 

The insurance is expected to deliver quality insurance/coverage that ensures the health and safety of employees and their families. Two options are required, the submission of cost for employees only and the submission of cost for employees’ families. The cost of insurance of class B with an additional option to upgrade to class A. The insurance is expected to cover the costs for Covid-19 infected staff members and their dependents

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Dag-Hammarskjöld-Weg 1-5, D - 65760 Eschborn, Federal Republic of Germany, intends to award the: “International Insurance Company” to provide our GIZ Office with Corporate Health Insurance plan for GIZ staff.

The execution of the Services will be performed within the frame of the Technical Cooperation between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Lebanon.

The bidders who are interested in participating in the tender must read and comply with the instructions and the Terms of Reference contained in the tender documents.
