Call for Resumes - Anticipated USAID Lebanon Municipal and Community Support Activity
DAI, a global consulting firm based in the United States, is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates for technical and operational long-term positions for an anticipated new activity in local governance funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The purpose of the Municipal and Community Support Program (MCSP) is to help municipalities and other decentralized government entities and non-governmental organizations in the delivery of essential services that will improve lives and enhance economic opportunities in underserved communities throughout Lebanon amidst the current nationwide socio-economic crisis.
Candidates with significant demonstrated experience in the following areas are sought. Previous experience supporting USAID or other donor funded projects is preferred. Previous USAID experience typically required for operational positions. Lebanese nationals are strongly encouraged to apply:

- Solid Waste Management/ Recycling
- Water Resources Management
- Electricity /Energy solutions
- Local Economic Development/Livelihoods
- Community engagement/cohesion
- Civil society engagement in municipal service delivery

- Small-scale Infrastructure Engineering
- USAID project management and operations, including finances, human resources, procurement, and project administration

Qualifications/Requirements
Specific requirements will vary by position. General requirements are listed below for reference:
- University degree in a relevant field from an accredited university preferred or required depending on the position. An advanced degree (master’s or higher) is typically preferred for senior positions.
- At least 7 years of relevant technical experience for technical leadership positions
- At least 5 years of progressive management and leadership experience for managerial positions
- Relevant experience in Lebanon or regional experience in MENA strongly preferred.
- Experience with USAID and/or other international donor programs preferred; previous USAID experience typically required for operational positions.
- Strong communication skills - both written and oral - are required.
- Language skills vary by position: fluency in Arabic and English language skills are preferred
