Norwegian People’s Aid is a Norwegian organization funded in 1939, with Head Office in Oslo working in ca. forty Countries worldwide providing support to Civil Society Organizations, Humanitarian Aid and Humanitarian Mine Action. Our main goal is a fair distribution of power and resources. NPA main strategy is based on partnership with local civil society organizations.
NPA is present in Lebanon since 1983 supporting local civil society organizations, providing humanitarian aid and humanitarian clearance of explosive hazards.
NPA is recruiting up to 3 Programme Coordinators (mid-management) to support its civil society and humanitarian programmes
This is an external recruitment, but it is also open to internal candidates within NPA Lebanon.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, international development, public administration, or a related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in work with Civil Society organizations and/or Humanitarian aid
- Good capacity in analyzing political and humanitarian trends in Lebanon and in the Region
- Proven experience in managing multi-sector or multi-partner projects
- Experience in working with donors and knowledge of their compliance and reporting standards
- Good project management skills: planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and report writing.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide the PMs and the CD with context analysis and advise on programme developments
- Support and advise partners throughout the project implementation period.
- Evaluate partners’ capacities using NPA’s tools and develop and implement capacity building plans.
- Ensure proper project cycle implementation in-line with partnership agreements and donor requirements.
- Comply with NPA program requirements: planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
- Follow-up with partners and other country program staff on context developments that can affect the partners and the program.
- Comply with the project administrative requirements in coordination with relevant NPA staff.
- Ensure proper archiving documentation pertaining to the projects and partners.
- In close collaboration with the Programme Manager, contribute to the mapping and building relationships with potential partners for future project proposals.
- In close collaboration with the Programme Manager, participate in concept note and project proposal writing.
