The committee of the parents of the kidnapped and the dissapeared is a grouping of the families of those who were kidnapped and were forcefully made to dissapear during the Lebanese Civil War, the committee started work in 1982 yet it covers the period extending between 1975 till 1990.

Call

The Committee of the families of the kidnapped and disappeared in Lebanon CFKDL, is calling for proposals regarding the assessment of needs for establishing a comprehensive database on the missing and forcibly disappeared. This call is extended to benefit the National Commission for the Missing and Forcibly Disappeared in Lebanon NCMFD.
NCMFD is an independent institution established by the Lebanese Council of Ministers in 2020, in line with the implementation of Law 105/2018. Its primary mandate is to search for the missing and forcibly disappeared due to Lebanon’s conflicts since 1975.
