Role Mission
We are looking for an ambitious, organised, technically-oriented individual to lead the Codi Beirut Full-Stack Web Development Programme. The main responsibilities of this position will be to manage and train all of our students to become future web developers and digital project managers and accompany them throughout their daily activities.
The position will be based in Codi Beirut with some monthly travel expected across Codi locations.
Responsibilities (incl. deliverables):
- Work closely with the Head of Pedagogy in Beirut
- Prepare exercises, teachings and all contents of the curriculum
- Participate in the recruitment of all of the students
- Be present, monitor and help the students in their daily training
- Stimulate meet-ups between students and the ecosystem of developers in Lebanon (e.g. meet-ups, involvement in local events, ...)
Profile Requirements:
Technical
- Passionate about programming and web development
- Wide knowledge in JavaScript / CSS / HTML / SQL / PHP
- Good knowledge of design patterns and continuous delivery principles
- Ability to learn new front-end / back-end frameworks such as React and Laravel
- Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (especially when teaching)
- Experience in resource management (technical teams)
Desired Skills
- Fervent desire and passion for teaching (2+ years experience)
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Previous experience dealing with projects/clients
- Strong UX / UI practices
Candidate - What we look for:
- Fluency in Arabic and English; French is a plus
- Enthusiastic, well-organised, efficient, flexible, keen to learn new skills
- Ability to participate within a multidisciplinary team and act autonomously as relevant
- Business development experience (preferred)
