1. Job Purpose: Coordinate the work of the CCER

3. Key Result Areas:
a. Coordinating the activities of CCER:
- Develops drafts yearly action plan
- Supports the implementation of activities and ensures quality control.
- Organizes CCER meetings and produces minutes.
- Establishes & maintains a data base of CCER members and their capabilities.
b. Documenting and disseminating electoral reform related information:
- Collects data and produces activity reports and present them to the program manager.
- Organizes CCER events to present electoral reform findings and recommendations.
- Contributes to the organization of stake holders’ meetings and discussions on CCER findings & recommendations.
c. Promoting & enhancing CCER’s role in Lebanon:
- Produces draft materials that highlight the important role of CCER and the rights and obligations of its members
- Builds and maintains a good contact with all NGOs in the regions.
- Keeps records of CCER membership and works on expanding it.
d. Assisting in the management of the program department:
- Contribute to the development of the program’s yearly action plan
- Assists the program manager in dealing with human resources issues
- Produces and sends weekly/monthly progress narrative and financial reports or any other reports if required to the program manger.
- Coordinates with the heads of sections at the program department
- Assigns tasks to the CCER assistant and supervises his/her work.
4. Minimum Qualifications:
Education
BA degree in political studies, law, management or related fields.
Good command of English and Arabic. French is an asset.
Experience
Background & expertise in NGO work.
At least 3 years of experience in working with volunteers of which at least one year in a supervisory position.
Knowledge of the Lebanese electoral reform and at least 2 years of experience in elections monitoring (or have monitored at least 1 general election).
Computer
Capable of using main computer applications (Microsoft Office Application…).
Skills and personal traits
Very good leadership & communication skills.
Very good organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to develop creative solutions to problems.
