CESVI has been operating in Lebanon since 2001 with emergency assistance, education, livelihoods, and socioeconomic development. This job posting is related to the “WASTE or RESOURCE: Enterprises and municipalities’ environmental and social Responsibility” Project, led by CELIM and implemented by CESVI, OXFAM, POLIMI, and ISF-MI in collaboration with the municipalities of Hasbaya and Chebaa. The purpose of the action implemented by CESVI is to contribute to reducing the negative impact on health and environment produced by pollution and contamination of air, soil, and water in Lebanon by supporting 20 MSMEs in developing new and enhancing already existing models of environmental and social responsibility In South Lebanon while ensuring that decent work standards are preserved. One of the success factors of the project is to run a 2-phase environmental impact awareness campaign, which will target the 20 project businesses, as well as other private sector stakeholders and relevant public and educational stakeholders

As an intern, you will contribute to the project's awareness campaign activities, focusing on environmental impact, pollution reduction, and sustainable practices. Your responsibilities will be Canva design for visual on-sight and online content, researching and brainstorming for pre-identified campaign activities, updating social media platforms, conducting interviews, pin-pointing campaign activity hotspots, mapping potential collaborators, event facilitation, and following up on campaign product purchases. You directly report to the Project Manager and the project team, as well as interacting with project’s partners.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE - 0-2 years experience working in marketing and communications ESSENTIAL SKILLS & COMPETENCES - Strong communication and organizational skills - Proficiency in Canva and basic design principles - Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment - Can easily and proactively tackle stakeholder mapping, communication channels, and outreach activites to campaign targets - Strong media literacy is a must - Fluent in English and Arabic - Digital literacy – including capacities related to MS office, email, and crossplatform social media messaging – is a must Desirable requirements: • Prior experience in working on an awareness campaigns is a plus • Prior experience in the humanitarian field is a plus • Awareness pertaining to the diverse cultural dynamics in South Lebanon is desirable
