The DOT-Olive project aims to support olive oil producers in the Hasbaya district, Nabatiye Governatorate, by intervening along the entire supply chain, from the single olive grower to the mill. Special focus is put on the environmental impact of the value chain in order to introduce sustainable solutions for the management of organic solid waste and wastewater. Among them the project will support the creation of:

Intervention A - a composting plant in the Municipality of Kawkaba
Intervention B - a tank to collect wastewater of olive oil processing in the Municipality of Hasbaya.

We are looking for a Construction Engineer or equivalent with relevant experience in the sector.

The construction engineer or equivalent will have to carry out the following activities (Terms of References attached for details):

  • Screening and scouting phase (7 working days; 40% Intervention A/60% Intervention B)
  • Design Phase (8 working days; 25% intervention A/75% Intervention B)
  • Implementation phase (10 working days; 40% Intervention A/60% Intervention B)
