Kitchen Chef

Responsibilities:

Plan and execute nutritious and tailored menus for individuals undergoing addiction recovery.

Prepare meals adhering to dietary guidelines, restrictions, and preferences.

Collaborate with nutritionists and dietary staff to accommodate special dietary needs.

Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and equipment maintenance.

Foster a supportive and collaborative environment by working closely with counselors and other staff members.

Provide education and guidance on healthy eating habits and food choices.

Stay updated on culinary trends, nutritional research, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a chef or cook, preferably in a healthcare or residential setting.

Strong culinary skills with a focus on nutrition and flavor.

Knowledge of dietary guidelines, food safety standards, and kitchen management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Empathy and compassion towards individuals undergoing addiction recovery.

Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the center and its residents.
