Graphic Designer and Communications

Graphic Designer and Communications Job Summary

Besme Group is looking for a highly skilled creative graphic designer and communications to join the team, with the ability to create effective eye-catching images and campaigns. The graphic designer is expected to be able to develop graphics both for print and digital platforms that convey messages in alignment with the work of the organization. The candidate should has a substantial portfolio of successful campaigns and is proficient with design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop.

The designer should be an excellent writer in both English and Arabic language and have experience in social media and graphic design.

Major Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage our website and social media platform
• Developing product illustrations, logos, and other graphics and material as needed including social media posts, brochures, banners, annual reports, walls, cards, presentations, PowerPoint, info graphics, website, etc.
• Develop high-impact social media content including graphics, videos and other multimedia formats that effectively informs and engages external audiences
• Keep association website up-to-date
• Write blog posts and social media posts.
• Monitor and moderate comments on social media posts, intervening as appropriate to answer questions and guide the conversation.
• Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
• Make sure that all social media channels are in-line with the same strategy
• Video graphics and animation design
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Exceptional creativity and innovation
• Experience with both print and electronic media
• At least 3 years’ experience in design and communications
• Excellent writing skills with an emphasis on writing for the web and social media
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on time and strong attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices.

• Residing in Beirut

Working Hours:  From 9:00 am to 3:30 pm (Monday till Friday).

Salary: 6,000,000 LBP
