Senior Social Worker - Beirut Association for Social Development

Job Objective:
Lead and oversee all social work activities within the organization. This role involves providing guidance and support to a team of social workers, developing and implementing social work programs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients. The Head of Social Worker will also collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to address social issues and promote the well-being of individuals and communities

Main tasks:
●    Design and implement innovative social work programs and initiatives to address the needs of clients and target populations
●    Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for social work services following organizational goals.
●    Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans and objectives for social work programs.
●    Provide leadership and direction to the social work team, including setting goals, managing performance, and fostering a positive work environment.
●    Build relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and service providers.
●    Document and keep records in the department according to the rules and regulations to preserve the confidentiality of information.
●    Document and record cases of abuse and domestic violence according to the approved systems.
●    Participate in preparing and presenting training and educational programs and activities for the center.
●    Participate in awareness and educational campaigns and national campaigns following the plans of the Ministries of Public Health and Social Affairs.
●    Coordinate with the relevant authorities (mayor, school, etc...) to provide social services to the target groups and activate social programs and behaviors within the scope of the center's services.
●    Plan and implement a series of projects and social programs according to the region's requirements and priorities, and present them to funding bodies in coordination and supervision of the organization's director.
●    Contribute to communication, coordination, and networking with local health, social, and educational institutions to satisfy the needs and requirements of the individual, the group, or the local community (similar associations, mayors, mayors, school principals, etc...).

Job Requirements:
●    Bachelor's degree in Community Social Work.
●    Master's degree is a plus.
●    Minimum 3 years of experience in the field, preferably in an NGO setting
