Protection Field Officer SRH & GBV (Female-Tripoli)

Responsibilities: (in bullet points)

• Weekly reports for Akkarouna management to ensure follow-up on the implementation of the project. 
• Mapping of targeted communities to identify the targeted area 
• Liaise with municipalities and other partners/stakeholders working in the same communities to ensure Project coordination among them 
• Facilitate meetings with municipalities, committee's partners and stakeholders. 
• Regular follow up with project Manager on progress in activities. 
• Support Akkarouna colleagues with related tasks working as Akkarouna team. 
• Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the activities the beneficiaries are involved in. 
• Participate in the assessments and outreach of activities within the field of work
• Explain clearly and transparently the project objectives, activities, scope of work, implementation methodology and the selection criteria to the community.
• Perform other duties as required by Akkarouna. 
• Weekly meeting with the social worker to maintain the good quality of the implementation
• Establish and maintain the good relationship with the focal point and community leaders
• Ensure data entry and achieving with close follow up and monitor with social worker

Experience and technical competencies: 

•  At least 1-year experience working with community-based groups implementing protection activities
•  Excellent knowledge of SRH and GBV.
•  Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination, safety and inclusion of GBV cases at all times
•  Excellent gender and age-appropriate facilitation skills, child development and adult learning techniques, and good knowledge of GBV and SRH.
• Excellent capacity building, training, coaching and mentoring skills
• Excellent communication and psychosocial first aid skills
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility
• Comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Most be able to drive and have a driver Licence
